the courage to color…

I wake up and say, “Alexa, Good morning…”, daily this smart speaker replies with either useless or useful information. A Christmas gift from my sister that has been entertaining as well as informative.

Today, I was informed that is it “Opposite Day”.

Yes, today is the day that dogs like cats, up is down and backwards is forwards. I was also told that everyone loves fruitcake, too! LOL!

What if you were to go opposite in your hairstyle? Really, have you ever thought about going from blonde to red? Grey to pink or purple? Long to short? What would your hair look like today if you were “opposite”?

Until I became a salon owner married to a hairdresser; I was pretty set in my ways. Soon, I would become inspired by those who were fearless; women that would come in and radically change their hairstyle with a cut or color.

It takes courage! Once that you take that first step towards changing it up? It can become a lot of fun! Trust me, I know. I have been long, mid, and now discovered short is my favorite. I’ve had the bob, stacked, fringed, layered…pixie, too. It’s a heck of a lot of fun!
